A 42-year-old man reported being in the parking lot in Patchogue, located at 272 East Main St., when he was stabbed in the chest at approximately 3:20 a.m. Sunday, April 17, Suffolk County Police said.
The man drove to a relative’s home on Brook Street in Patchogue and police were called, the SCPD said.
He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries.
The man's identity has not yet been released. Police said he is a Patchogue resident.
